Save Money on Body Fat Scales
If you just want to get a simple body fat measurement you dont need a fancy expensive scale for this.
The more expensive the machine does not mean you are getting a more accurate body fat reading it just means you are getting more features and other measurements that you may not need or care about.
Besides just the body fat percentage reading some machines can give you measurements for
- body mass index
- visceral fat level
- skeletal muscle percentage
- resting metabolism
- body age
Most peope do not know what all these other measurements mean and these other measurements do not help to gage a more accurate body fat reading.
They just end up making the machine cost more money. If you do not need these other measurements then do not pay for them by getting a more expensive machine.
Another feature that can drive up the cost of a body fat scale ... is multiple profiles. Will you be the only person using your machine? Or perhaps just you and your spouse?
Unless you have a big family and plan on measuring everyone's body fat on a regular basis you don't need a machine that saves information for 4 - 6 people, this feature also adds to the cost of the machine.
Lastly make sure your machine also doubles as a normal body weight scale. Because sometimes you want to just weigh yourself and get a normal body weight measurement without the body fat test.
